This week in The Gambia, Riders for Health were pleased to meet with H.E President Adama Barrow.
The team from Riders for Health included co-founder Barry Coleman who was visiting from the UK, as well as CEO Kayode Ajayi and the senior leadership team from the Riders for Health The Gambia.
Covered on Gambian television, the meeting was a continuation of Riders’ ongoing partnership with The Gambian government. Held at The State House in the nation’s capital Banjul, discussion covered the success of the partnership over the last 30 years and how the programme could continue to support the Gambian people.
Working closely with governments and ministries in the countries where we operate is an essential to all Riders programmes and part of what ensures our systems are embedded in each nation’s healthcare eco-system. This strong relationship is necessary for creating a sustainable solution to the problem of transport for healthcare.
